It’s been a while since I’ve drawn HS stuff with actual effort put into it. Empress Feferi was originally designed by saccharinesylph.
I usually don’t post WIPs here but - eh might as well update this blog. I have the week off so hooray!!

February 2013 starts the year of the snake.
The cherubs have a strange connection to snakes. The Caduceus, the Ouroboros, Ophiuchus… Snakes symbolize healing which the Rod of Asclepius (which was mistaken for the Caduceus) represented. They also symbolize the dark side and Satan which may relate to how Lord English was called a demon or the Master of Death.
I always saw Feferi’s innards being colourful.
When I was 16, we dissected pig foetuses in biology class. We had a task where we had to unwind the intestines. My lab partner squicked at it while I was carefully unwinding it and holding it only a few inches away from my face.
